Salient Marketing is an online marketing company that specializes in search engine optimization (SEO). This client wanted us to develop a logo that was anything but standard. Most of Salient’s competition had very simple, standard looking brands. Salient Marketing wanted to stand out.

Mikes Candy Stand came to us for help with his image.  The great thing about Mike is every time he stops in he brings a box of chocolates.  Pixies and Mint Meltaways to be exact.  So as you can expect we try to please him so he will keep coming back, (hopefully with more candy).  His company name is “Mikes Candy Stand” so we decided to shoot for the obvious and play up the “Candy Stand” part of his name.  For his projects we started by doing an illustration of two of his granddaughters, then we developed a lettering style that fit what we felt like his image should be.
